Reconciliation Specialist

BNP Paribas Securities Services has been present in Poland since February 2008. Combining local knowledge with global expertise, the Branch in Warsaw offers broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we look for candidates interested in funds distribution services, custody, fund management, fund administration and associated sectors who are interested in the position of:

Reconciliation Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure weekly/ monthly reconciliationEnsure the follow-up of the reconciliation breaks until final conclusion
  • Respond to any query from internal or external sources in relation to the activity
  • Identify settlement discrepancies and out of balance conditions through a variety of balancing techniques and reconciliation software applications
  • Prepare and submit various monthly reports for management review
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve reconciliation processes for greater operational efficiency, as well as improvement opportunities for other processing areas to minimize risk of error and research time
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to co-operate in teams
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivation, willingness to learn
  • Analytical skillsClient focus
