Senior Buyer / Supplier Development Engineer (home office based)

Miejsce pracy: Warszawa

Senior Buyer / Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for:executing technical witness and hold points,
technical expertise,
identifying, proposing, and supporting implementing performance improvements,
identifying, initiating, leading and implementing timely issue resolution strategies for,
quality/technical issues in supplier products.


Specifics:supplier identification: support sourcing for identifying new potential vendors located in Eastern Europe,
supplier assessment: Perform evaluations of Suppliers in Eastern Europe and Supply Development to include sourcing requirements, manufacturing capability, capacity, and associated risks,
supplier oversight: Create Manufacturing and Process Plan estimates for use in design option selection or validation of cost and schedule. Drive the supplier performance,
supplier Development: Lead for developing new local suppliers to raise their skills up to reach out requirements set.


Requirement:bachelor Degree or higher in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering OR I&C,
minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical/industrial engineering OR I&C with progressive technical experience,
experience on fossil or technical/industrial projects,
be familiar with Manufacturing Capability assessment concept/Supplier technical evaluation,
fluent in English (TOEIC 850 or equivalent), professional language skill in German will be appreciated,
willing to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
