Sourcing/Buyer Engineer (home office based)

Miejsce pracy: Warszawa

Job description:actively participate to the definition of the needs,
solicit offers from suppliers and analyze proposals,
negotiate with suppliers the key terms such costs, lead-time, contractual terms while ensure compliance with technical industry requirements,
prepare the analysis of the offers and participate to the selection of the suppliers,
manage potential claims with suppliers,
identify and obtain cost improvement of purchased materials and services through negotiation and process improvements,
apply processes and procedures to continuous improvement.


Specifics:supplier identification: identify new potential vendors located in Eastern Europe for the Company Business,
supplier relationships: develop the relationships with vendor and act as a facilitator,
supplier negotiation: deal with the commercial item with supplier and negotiating price (RFQ-Process, commercial & contractual bid evaluation.


Requirement:+7 years of experience in a supply chain organization,
experience as Project buyer (Supply Chain degree),
has ideally work in the technical, aerospace, mechanical engineering or Oil & Gas industry as a buyer,
has ideally a technical background for mechanical component procurement,
fluent in English (TOEIC 850 or equivalent), professional language skill in German will be appreciated,
willing to travel to support emergent project issues/supplier development.
