For new activity within BNP Paribas Securities Services in Poland which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation centre in Warsaw we look for candidates interested in funds distribution services, custody, fund management, fund administration and associated sectors who are interested in the position of:

Operation Specialist in Database Maintenance Team
Responsibilities:

Analyse fund documentation needed for fund creation in one of the main BNP Paribas databases (critical post in ensuring the integrity of client and instrument data which is held on IT trading platform supporting Fund Dealing Services - FDS );
Daily contact with international FDS teams network;
Daily contact with external counterparties e.g. Transfer Agencies, Fund Managers;
Fund sensitive information review ( wire instructions etc. ) to be sure FDS trading system is in line with the market;
Create and modify funds and clients records;
Set-up of client;
Analyse of new client portfolio;
Prepare the implementation of new client;
Participation in trades placement process on investment funds

Requirements:

University degree (Economy, banking, finance studies);
1-2 years of experience in database maintenance department, ideally in funds industry area;
Knowledge of Capital Markets;
Knowledge of data providers tools such as Bloomberg, Telekurs, etc.;
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills;
Fluency in English; the capability to communicate in other language (German, French, Italian or Spanish) would be additional value;
Stress resistance;
Capacity to co-operate in teams;
Attention to details and accuracy;
Ability to learn quickly
